Junior IT Support Officer
Channel IT is seeking to recruit a Junior IT Support Officer for our office in Nicosia. The successful applicants will be responsible for providing Support Services to our growing customer base.
Main Job Responsibilities
1st and basic level 2 Support to our Clients through a ticketing System.
Escalation of tickets to Senior Engineers when needed
Replying through the ticketing System to the clients as a first response for cases that come to the Support Department.
Take on training as and when needed to enhance knowledge in current and future product lines.
Extensive travel will be required from the successful applicants supporting customers in other countries where Channel IT has operations.(4-15 Days)
Will be considered as an advantage
Installation and configuration (antivirus/backups/Firewalls and other software)
Installation and configuration of network equipment (Routers-Switches)
Installing and Configuring Wireless Network (Wi-Fi).
Firewalls and customization of security policies (Firewall Policies, VPN Policies, etc.).
One year of Active Directory Experience
Knowledge of Linux/Unix will be considered as an advantage
Knowledge of cloud platforms will be considered an advantage.
Qualifications and Skills
University or College Degree within the field of IT/Engineering.
Excellent communication and client service skills, both written and oral in Greek and English.
Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems.
